Privacy Policy & Advertising Disclosure
What's collected, who it's shared with, and how advertising on this site works. Last updated October 2026.
Cookies
This site and its advertising and analytics partners use cookies and similar
technology to keep the site working, to measure which pages are useful, and to show ads. You
can block or delete cookies in your browser; some tools on this site, like the deadline
calculator, work fine without them.
Advertising
Vegas Support Center shows ads served by third-party advertising networks,
including Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads
based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising
through Google's Ad Settings or
the Digital Advertising Alliance.
Analytics
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which records page views in aggregate
without cookies and without storing your IP address. We do not sell the personal information
of visitors.
We also use Contentsquare, which owns Hotjar and uses cookies to show how visitors move through
the site: where they tap and scroll, and recordings of a visit. Contentsquare receives this data under the
Contentsquare Privacy Policy.
What you type, the answers you get and the files you make are hidden on your device before anything is
sent. Contentsquare does not run on Check My Document, the Benefits Checker, the ballot page, or the sign-in,
account, password reset and email check pages. It also does not run if your browser sends a
Global Privacy Control signal.
The ballot page poll
If you tap how you lean on the ballot page, we save that lean under a scrambled
version of your account ID, not your email, so you get one lean per item and can change it or take
it back by tapping it again. It takes a free account. We show only totals, and only once at least 10
people have leaned on an item. It's an unofficial poll and not a vote, and it never goes to any
election office. The whole poll, every lean and every total, deletes itself on December 3, 2026.
Questions you ask
When you type a question, it is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to write the answer.
We don't save what you type. We count questions by topic and day, and by Nevada zip code if you
typed one, and keep those counts for up to 400 days. We share them only as totals, such as how many
eviction questions came from a zip code in a month, never anything that identifies a person.
To keep the free daily limit fair, we keep a scrambled version of your IP address
for that day only. It can't be turned back into your address, and it expires the next day.
Accounts and Local Assistants
If you make an account, we keep your email address, a scrambled version of your password,
the Local Assistants you own, and your place in each one, including the answers you type and the files a
Local Assistant makes for you, so they follow you to any device. Without an account, your Local Assistant work stays on
your device. We don't sell or share any of it. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see your
card number. We send an account two kinds of email, only to its own address: a link to confirm it when
you sign up, and a password reset link when you ask for one. Resend delivers them, so it handles your
email address to do that.
Email updates
If you sign up for the Clark County brief, we keep your email address and the zip code
if you gave one, only to send you the brief. Every email will have a way to unsubscribe. We don't sell
or share the list.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and take an
action with that business, Vegas Support Center may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate relationships never change the deadlines, statutes or steps described on a page.
Advertising & sponsorship disclosure
Any paid placement on this site — a "Featured local provider" slot, a banner
ad, or an affiliate link — is labeled "Sponsored" or "Ad" where it appears. Sponsorship buys
visibility, never editorial content, and never a referral fee tied to an individual case.
Lawyer and law-firm placements on this site are flat-fee advertising, not referrals, consistent
with Nevada's rules on attorney advertising and referral fees. See
the advertise page for how placements work.
