The National Weather Service in Las Vegas issued a Flood Watch for Northeast Clark County and Lincoln County. It runs from this evening through late Sunday night, ending at 4 a.m. Sunday, November 2.
Moderate to heavy rain is possible at times tonight through Sunday night, with one to two inches possible by early Monday morning. With saturated soils and significant runoff expected, flash flooding and high flows in streams and rivers may occur.
Excessive runoff could flood rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying, flood-prone spots. Poor drainage and urban areas may also flood, and low-water crossings may go under water. Residents in affected areas should avoid low-water crossings and flood-prone locations while the watch is in effect.
