Woman arrested after fatal stabbing of husband at Del Rey Avenue apartment
Las Vegas police said a 53-year-old woman was booked into the Clark County Detention Center after a man died at an apartment in the 6700 block of Del Rey Avenue.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department dispatch received a report of a stabbing in the 6700 block of Del Rey Avenue at about 5:34 a.m. on Oct. 22. Officers who responded found a man and a woman inside an apartment with apparent stab wounds. Medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The woman, 53, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the Homicide Section's investigation determined she fatally stabbed her husband before stabbing herself. She was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on an open murder with a deadly weapon charge.
The Clark County Coroner's Office can provide the man's identity, cause and manner of death. Anyone with information is asked to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section at 702-828-3521.
