The City of Las Vegas says storm drain work on Charleston Boulevard has pushed back the reopening of Commerce Street.

Commerce Street south of Charleston Boulevard will now reopen by Nov. 20, the City of Las Vegas said in a construction update. The street had been expected to reopen Oct. 26.
The city said work continues on storm drain improvements along Charleston Boulevard. The new schedule avoids reopening Commerce Street on Oct. 26 and then closing it again in early November.
Drivers who use Commerce Street south of Charleston Boulevard should plan on another route until the street reopens.
