Your ballot, explained

The Clark County general election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Here is every contest and every ballot question the county has published, in the county's own words. Nobody here tells you how to vote.

What's on your ballot

Your own ballot has only some of this. Tap a line to go to it.

How to really vote

When: Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you are in line at 7 p.m., stay in line: you still get to vote. Early voting ended October 30.

Where: Any Election Day Vote Center in Clark County, no matter where you live in the county. See the county's list of Vote Centers or use the Vote Center Locator at ClarkCountyNV.gov/vote.

Bring: The county says it is always a good idea to bring a photo ID. If you have your mail ballot with you, you must hand it in at the site. If you don't have it, you sign a statement that you aren't voting twice.

Not registered yet? You can register at the Vote Center that day with a current Nevada driver's license, DMV ID card, DMV interim document or Nevada tribal ID. You will vote a provisional ballot. If your ID doesn't show your current address, a document that does can prove it, such as a utility bill, bank statement, paycheck or lease.

Have a mail ballot? Sign the outside of the return envelope. Put it in a drop box at any Vote Center before the polls close, or mail it postmarked by November 3 so it arrives by 5 p.m. November 7. Track your ballot. If there is a problem with your signature, you have until 5 p.m. November 9 to fix it: (702) 455-CURE (2873).

Clark County Election Department, Election Day Voting and Mail Ballot Voting pages and 2026 General Election page, read 2026-11-01; NRS 293.273, 293.305, 293.5847 and 293.269921 (Rev. 9/9/2026).
Unofficial poll, not a real vote. With a free account you can tap how you lean on the items below, one lean per item, and see the totals once 10 people have leaned. It counts for nothing, it goes to no election office, and it is not a scientific poll. It closes at 7 p.m. on election day. The only way to vote is above.

Start with Question 6 · Question 7 · Governor

You only vote your own precinct's contests. The county's list says it plainly: "You may vote only for your own precinct's candidates and contests, not for all listed." Your sample ballot, or the Election Department at (702) 455-VOTE (8683), tells you which districts are yours. This page does not look up districts by address.

The ballot questions

State questions appear statewide. The two city questions below are on Boulder City ballots only. Each question's wording, and the Yes and No lines, are quoted exactly from the county's ballot question booklet.

Amendment to the Nevada Constitution · Initiative Petition C-05-2023

State Question No. 6

Should the Nevada Constitution be amended to create an individual’s fundamental right to an abortion, without interference by state or local governments, whenever the abortion is performed by a qualified healthcare professional until fetal viability or when necessary to protect the health or life of the pregnant individual at any point during the pregnancy?

Your voteWhat it does, in the county's words
YesA “Yes” vote would create a new section of the Nevada Constitution to establish a person’s constitutional right to abortion, so that a person can make decisions about matters relating to abortion and reproductive healthcare, without interference from state or local governments.
NoA “No” vote would keep the Nevada Constitution in its current form and would not impact the availability of abortion as a statutory right under Nevada law.

The law today: Existing law states that abortions are legal in Nevada and must occur within 24 weeks after the start of the pregnancy. An exception currently exists to allow an abortion after 24 weeks if a physician reasonably believes that an abortion is necessary to preserve the pregnant person’s life or health.

What it costs: Financial impact – cannot be determined. (Fiscal Analysis Division of the Legislative Counsel Bureau, August 1, 2024)

If it passes: An initiative amending the Nevada Constitution must be approved at two successive general elections. If approved in November 2024 and November 2026, it would take effect on November 24, 2026, when the votes are canvassed by the Supreme Court.

Amendment to the Nevada Constitution · Initiative Petition C-02-2023

State Question No. 7

Should the Nevada Constitution be amended to require voters to either present photo identification to verify their identity when voting in-person or to provide certain personal information to verify their identity when voting by mail ballot?

Your voteWhat it does, in the county's words
YesA “Yes” vote would amend Article 2 of the Nevada Constitution to require in-person Nevada voters present certain identification and mail ballot voters to provide certain information in order to cast a legal ballot.
NoA “No” vote would keep the Nevada Constitution in its current form.

The law today: Under current law, Nevada voters must only show identification in certain situations. These situations are rare and related to the method and timing of how they register to vote.

What it costs: Financial impact – yes. The Secretary of State’s Office estimates about $6,750 to change voter systems, in time for 2028; the cost of any free alternative ID for voters who lack one cannot be determined. (Fiscal Analysis Division of the Legislative Counsel Bureau, July 29, 2024)

If it passes: If approved again in 2026, the Legislature could write the related laws in the 2027 session and the changes would go into effect for the 2028 election cycle.

Boulder City voters only

City of Boulder City Question No. 1

Should data center facilities be an approved land use within the Eldorado Valley Transfer Area outside of the Multi-species Habitat Conservation Easement?

Your voteWhat it does, in the county's words
YesA “YES” vote would allow data center facilities to be an approved land use within the Eldorado Valley Transfer Area outside of the Multi-species Habitat Conservation Easement.
NoA “NO” vote would mean that no data center facilities would be approved within the Eldorado Valley Transfer Area outside of the Multi-species Habitat Conservation Easement.

The law today: Section 144(1) of the Boulder City Charter limits what the city’s Eldorado Valley land can be used for; any other use must be approved by the city’s voters. Approval would not require the City Council to authorize a data center.

What it costs: Any expense related to this question will not require the levy or imposition of a new tax or fee or increase of an existing tax or fee. (City of Boulder City, fiscal impact statement)

Clark County Election Department, Ballot Questions, General Election, November 3, 2026, pages 16–21. Pulled 2026-10-20.

City of Boulder City Question No. 2

Shall the City of Boulder City be authorized to expend available funds from the Capital Improvement Fund in an amount up to fifty percent (50%) of the most recent audited fiscal year’s ending cash balance in the Capital Improvement Fund each year in place of the previously authorized amount of One Million ($1,000,000.00) per year for capital improvement projects for the benefit of Boulder City residents and visitors?

Your voteWhat it does, in the county's words
YesA “YES” vote would allow the City of Boulder City to expend available funds from the Capital Improvement Fund in an amount up to fifty percent (50%) of the most recent audited fiscal year’s ending cash balance in the Capital Improvement Fund each year for capital improvement projects in place of the previously authorized amount of One Million ($1,000,000.00) per year for the maintenance and improvement of City facilities and infrastructure for the benefit of Boulder City residents and visitors.
NoA “NO” vote would not allow the City of Boulder City to expend up to fifty percent (50%) of the most recent audited fiscal year’s ending cash balance in the Capital Improvement Fund each year for capital improvement projects, but would not change the previously authorized amount of One Million ($1,000,000.00) per year for the maintenance and improvement of City facilities and infrastructure.

The law today: The Boulder City Charter requires voter approval for spending from the Capital Improvement Fund; voters previously authorized $1,000,000 a year.

What it costs: This question does not require an expense that will require the levy or imposition of a new tax or fee or the increase of an existing tax or fee. (City of Boulder City, fiscal impact statement)

Clark County Election Department, Ballot Questions, General Election, November 3, 2026, pages 22–25. Pulled 2026-10-20.

The booklet also prints arguments for and against each question, written by citizen committees on each side. They are advocacy, so they are left out here; read them in the county's booklet. The full text of every question is on the Election Department website and, the county says, on request at every vote center.
