Find a job in Las Vegas

Jobs, warehouse jobs, jobs hiring — whatever brought you here, the free help in Nevada runs through two public programs, not a job board.

What to do first

1. Register with Nevada JobConnect / EmployNV. It's free: job matching, resume help, and career centers in Las Vegas and Henderson. If you're drawing unemployment, this is also where the work-search activity you have to report usually gets done.
2. If you were laid off, not just between jobs, file for unemployment too. The two aren't either/or. See the lost my job page for the DETR claim and the appeal clock.
3. If your old employer is doing a mass layoff or closing, Nevada DETR tracks those notices (WARN Act) — check the Nevada Layoff Tracker for the actual filed notice. Nevada JobConnect staff can also tell you whether your layoff is one and what that changes about your timeline.
4. Keep basic needs covered while you search. Food, rent and utility help don't wait for a paycheck to resume — see food stamps and Medicaid and rental assistance if money is tight.

Programs and help that apply

Nevada JobConnect / EmployNV — free job search help, resume help, required work-search reporting for unemployment claimants.
Nevada DETR Unemployment Insurance — file a claim if you were laid off, not just searching.
211 — if you need help with food, rent or utilities while you look for work.
This desk hasn't yet pulled Nevada JobConnect's office addresses or hours into a tool. The WARN notice list is live now — see the Nevada Layoff Tracker.
